Welcome
Welcome! I’m delighted to see you.
I write when something puzzles me enough to investigate it. Sometimes that means drawing on research, sometimes just following an observation to its logical conclusion.
I take pictures when I see something interesting or when I travel. You’ll find here almost exclusively analogue black-and-white photography. The grain, distortions, and other artefacts are all authentically analogue. Beyond scanning the negatives, I stay away from post-processing. What you see here is exactly what I saw through the lens.
At work, I am a behavioural analyst and research the psychology of language – verbalisation of emotions, veracity, and the language of trauma. I work with the courts and the police doing psycholinguistic profiling. Before that, I spent 18 years in IT.
This is my personal website. You won’t find my professional work presented here. Nevertheless, my work is just a different form of output of the same cognitive structure, which you can experience here in writing and photography – not coming from a different mind, just different in form.
If you want to talk, you can reach me on LinkedIn – it is the easiest way to do it.
Enjoy your time here…
