I write when a system puzzles me enough to deconstruct it. Whether it is a social phenomenon, a psychological mechanism, or a technological shift, my process is the same: investigating internal logic to find the signal within the noise.

Sometimes that means drawing on research, sometimes just following an observation to its logical conclusion.

I take pictures when I see something interesting enough during travel. You’ll find here almost exclusively analogue black-and-white photography. The grain, distortions, and other artefacts are all authentically analogue. Beyond scanning the negatives, I stay away from post-processing. What you see here is exactly what I saw through the lens.

At work, I specialise in system analysis. I apply the same cognitive framework across different domains. As a research psychologist and court expert, I investigate the language of trauma and veracity through psycholinguistic profiling. As an AI safety analyst, I analyse how training processes, data quality, and system constraints shape model behaviour. Before that, I spent nearly 20 years in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.

To many, these fields seem unrelated. To me, they are just different datasets for the same analytical engine.

This is my personal website. You won’t find my formal case files or technical audits here. However, everything you see — the writing and the photography — is a direct output of the same mind that handles high-stakes investigations. The medium changes. The cognitive process does not.
